ZLINE Ducted Vent Island Mount Range Hood in Stainless Steel with Built-in ZLINE CrownSound Bluetooth Speakers (GL1iCRN-BT)

Installed my Island Range Hood with help from spouse. Very challenging but it worked out OK. One problem: with an 8-foot ceiling, I couldn't place the hood higher than 29 inches above stove-top while using ALL the recommended screws. I don't think this qualifies as a "low ceiling" so I don't know what the problem was.

Anyway the first install with all recommended screws was just too low. We were able to re-install at 35 inches above stove by deleting a few screws from the angle-brackets and tightening down extra hard on the many, many screws remaining. It's solid.

As for operation, venting is strong and effective. Noise level is significantly higher than my old Jenn-Air downdraft. It's too loud. But not a deal-breaker for me.

I didn't expect it to look this good. The curved glass and heavy stainless steel are nice.

Customer service was helpful on phone.

While my installer and I had to get imaginative due to the spatial constraints in my outdoor grill location (the blower housing extends through the overhead ceiling of my grill location and we ended up creating a cupola to house the equipment), the end result is an installation that looks good and works good.

Great product installers did a marvelous job. It looks beautiful in our new kitchen and works beyond what all of our previous hoods have been able to do streamlined shape, and the functional buttons on both sides, make it only beautiful, but very practical for use in our new kitchen, outstanding product, I give it five stars out of five

I have the stainless steel hood chase that came with the exhaust hood, I guess that is to just toss in the trash. Why not have short kit, and a tall kit? Not smart, just makes it more expensive.
Installation instructions, not much. Product quality seems acceptable. So far.

Fantastic unit. Fit and finish is right on spec. This hood is light, easy for 1-2 people to install. The remote blower is quiet - and exhausts air at an impressive rate. Great support throughout process!

We have had this fan for ~4 years now. It is rare to have an issue, but when something comes up ZLINE has been absolutely the best company to deal with! Their customer service is unsurpassed and the tech advice was right on!

Just had the hood installed last Tuesday, but the grill is not hoojed up yet so really havent used hood to see how it works. It is sleek looking and doesnt dominate our small outdoor kitchen area, which is what we we wanted. The fan does seem quite loud though even on a '1' setting so a little disappointed about that. We had looked at another hood with style design and they touted a very quiet fan, but they were out of stock so we'll never know. Once grill installed and we use our sear zone, we'll see what kind of job it does.

I bought the Zline GL14i-36 range hood in April 2019. People that came to see our new kitchen often remarked that they loved that range hood, we do too. But the time came to replace the lights and I read the owner's manual, saw a youtube video and hoped I could do it. I had a hard time removing the mounting from the light bulb. I contacted customer service and they were so very helpful and responsive. You will need some information to provide them such as serial number, model number, purchase order receipt but then they can provide you with the help you need. I opted to buy the Zline LED lights because I had hoped I wouldn't have to change the lights in my life time (I'm over 70). Zline is sending my a light kit and a video link so I can replace them at no charge. WOW, they really didn't have to do that. The light bulbs are not covered under any warranty but that was such a wonderful response. Thank You Zline.

I purchased a z-line island range hood and somehow the baffle filter was bent. I contacted customer service asking how I could purchase a new replacement baffle when I was informed that there is a 3-year parts warranty and they would be sending a new baffle out to me for free under warranty. I was floored. I have never experienced such incredible customer service in my life. I've contacted several other companies over the years for other issues with other products and I've never been treated so nicely and efficiently as z line. I will purchase more z-line products in the future and highly recommend other people to purchase z-line products based on their customer service alone. What an incredible company! Apart from that I love the range hood. It was very fairly priced and the options it has are very good and it looks beautiful!
