MICROVISOR is an efficient microwave range hood extender, designed to attach to "over the range" microwaves, to enhance the microwave's venting functionality. A great accessory add-on if you plan on using an over-the-range microwave to vent above your stovetop.

The MICROVISOR Removable Mini Hood is simply inserted into the bracket and removed by simply pulling it out.

Compatible with 99% of the over-the-range microwaves on the market including GE/LG/Samsung/Whirlpool/Electrolux/Bosch/Kenmore/Frigidaire/Kitchenaid/Maytag/Jen-Air120s/Amana/Roper/Haier and many other units! The MICROVISOR installs in less than 5 minutes and helps prevent grease build-up on furniture/cabinets by funneling the cooking by-products back into the exhaust system of your microwave unit. The MICROVISOR is removable, easy to store, and does not require any electrical requirements, components, or filters.

Microvisor

Easy install, works very good at trapping smoke then sending out the exhaust fan. Prior to using it, I had a great deal of issues with excess smoke in my kitchen.

Wrong!

This was NOT what I thought it was gonna be. I thought it was a hood with a filter.

It makes an over-the-stove microwave vent much better

Before, when frying almost everything our smoke alarms would go off, even though the vent is ducted to the outside. It got so that whenever my wife seared a roast or even sautéd vegetables, our dog would run to the back room. With it installed, our alarms have not gone off. It won't work as well as a standalone vent hood, but if space requires mounting the microwave over the stove, the extension hood improves the vent fan significantly. It's expensive for what it is, but it works well and looks good.
