We bought this cook top to use in our kitchen remodel. It sits in our island and we love it. It's beautiful, nice and big for all cooking needs, and wipes easy to clean. We've been using it for a month and are enjoying it.
We like the recessed drop in design and the way it opens up counter space compared with our old range. Our cabinet trim needed a small adjustment, so definitely review the cutout guide before install.
The drop in fit gives our kitchen a much cleaner layout and the stainless steel is easy to match. I took off one star because delivery was delayed by two days, not because of the cooktop.
I compared a few brands and went with z line because the cooktop had the style I wanted plus practical features. The porcelain surface around the burners has been easy to keep clean so far.
Dinner prep has been easier with the different burner sizes. I wish the manual had a little more detail for first-time gas cooktop owners, but the appliance itself has been dependable.

Couldn't decide between the zline and the kitchenaid but went with zline on a whim and every thing works as advertised. much cheaper than the kitchenaid especially when on sale and it makes me wonder what your really paying for or if it's just the kitchenaide name. I got a bigger one with zline plus an extra burner for half the price.
I love the beautiful procelain and brass burners. So easy to cleaned and adds good looks in my kitchen.
