I wanted a range hood that was sleek and modern & this hood is amazing! I called the customer service number on this website and she was so informative and kind in making sure I would have everything I needed for a painless install. (note, my electrician had to have ducts to install (we chose to have it ducted) but that was all the extras we needed!) it's beautiful and perfect for my space above the island. dimensions were accurate & it arrived on time. works perfectly and I'm happy!

While my installer and I had to get imaginative due to the spatial constraints in my outdoor grill location (the blower housing extends through the overhead ceiling of my grill location and we ended up creating a cupola to house the equipment), the end result is an installation that looks good and works good.

Just had the hood installed last Tuesday, but the grill is not hoojed up yet so really havent used hood to see how it works. It is sleek looking and doesnt dominate our small outdoor kitchen area, which is what we we wanted. The fan does seem quite loud though even on a '1' setting so a little disappointed about that. We had looked at another hood with style design and they touted a very quiet fan, but they were out of stock so we'll never know. Once grill installed and we use our sear zone, we'll see what kind of job it does.

I bought the Zline GL14i-36 range hood in April 2019. People that came to see our new kitchen often remarked that they loved that range hood, we do too. But the time came to replace the lights and I read the owner's manual, saw a youtube video and hoped I could do it. I had a hard time removing the mounting from the light bulb. I contacted customer service and they were so very helpful and responsive. You will need some information to provide them such as serial number, model number, purchase order receipt but then they can provide you with the help you need. I opted to buy the Zline LED lights because I had hoped I wouldn't have to change the lights in my life time (I'm over 70). Zline is sending my a light kit and a video link so I can replace them at no charge. WOW, they really didn't have to do that. The light bulbs are not covered under any warranty but that was such a wonderful response. Thank You Zline.

We bought this in August of '21 and love it. It's a sleek design and the fan works great. If I would change anything, I would have four lights instead of two to distribute the light better. My husband bumps into the glass sometimes because he's 6'1" and we didn't have a tall enough ceiling.

I am extremely happy with my ZLINE Remote Blower Island Range Hood (GL2i-R), the installation was simple with the exception of having to cut down the mounting brackets so that it was at the right height for my 8' ceiling and not blocking the line of sight. This hood looks amazing, is quiet enough to have conversations on its highest setting, and clears the smoke of a well seared steak with no problem! The only reason for the 4 stars is that it was not a great design for installation at an 8' ceiling.

Big, heavy well built. Not too loud on high setting. Simple to assemble, but watch videos in hanging mounting brackets!

We have one of your hoods in our new kitchen and we love it...we had difficulty removing smoke from under our covered patio as we have almost no air movement. Now we have eliminated the issue and have added to the atmosphere and look of our custom set-up. So excited to get this.... It was not an easy installation for me as a homeowner but I am confidant if we did it a second time we would be quite efficient.

I ordered the Z line 48" to go over my 36" island gas cooktop. Once it arrived, I opened everything up and determined how to install it. We previously had a downdraft so there was no existing ductwork. We live on the coast, so with constant storms, it is almost impossible to find a company to install something for you, and if they do give you a quote, you may have to sell your car to pay them. After 2 ridiculous quotes and lengthy lead times, my wife and I (both in our sixties) installed this unit ourselves! I must say, it looks great and works great.

I bought this range hood 2 years ago. A few months after getting it the lights would only flash continually when you turned them on. It was impossible to use the lights for cooking because the of the flashing. I called the company and they sent me a new wiring harness. It was the wrong size and so they sent me another one. The problem did not go away so they continued to send me parts. Even after 2 years they continued to work with me to try fixing the defective product. On the sixth contact after trying to change out a power module they sent us a new hood. This one is installed and works perfectly and looks great. I cannot remember ever having a company stay with me and continue to help like these folks did. Great customer service and we love the hood.

After lots of research I settled on a Zline Island Range Hood. Liked the look, reviews were good and many mentioned poor installation instructions. They were correct. You have to go online and watch Youtube videos which is fine, however the 1 video for an Island hood is very incomplete not to mention a very risky electrical hookup apparently done by the homeowner is shown. Fans are not overly loud for the amount of air they move. Lights are adequate, barely.

Finally installed and once the baffles were placed in the noise level decreased to an acceptable level
