Just what I needed

When I told my contractor what I was looking for he told me it doesn’t exist and I told him impossible! This vent hood is so sleek and was extremely easy to install . I love it and it was well worth the money .

I’m very excited about your exhaust system. No huge n bulky “boxes” so commonly used.

What is the noise level of the fan?

What is the maximum distance advised between stove top n ceiling. Thank you

The Range Hood Store

Hello there,

Thank you for reaching out; I'm happy to help. Yes, we offer a few in-ceiling units from Victory. Please note that we do not manufacture hoods; this unit is made by Victory Range Hoods in Canada. We only partner with manufacturers to sell them. Victory does not specify the noise level of their SUNSET model; however, because it is ceiling-mounted, you can expect less noise compared to a bulky standard range hood that hangs down. The recommended space between the bottom of the hood and your cooktop is 48 inches. You can mount it higher than that if you have taller ceilings, but just keep in mind that the higher it is away from your cooktop, the less efficient it will be.

The unit is in stock and ready to ship; however, shipping times are a bit longer than usual (2 to 3 weeks) because it ships from Canada and must cross customs, which typically lengthens the arrival time.

TRHS61500 ORDER # I need a side vented version of this item. Nothing is specified in the description of the version that is purchased. Please elaborate

The Range Hood Store

Hello there,

Thank you for reaching out; I'm happy to help. This unit comes top-vented, and it is in the description of the product specifying that it has a top-vented 6" exhaust. However, it can also vent from the side. When you receive the item, it will include instructions to flip the exhaust outlet to the side instead of facing up.

How high above the stove top can this be mounted to be effective?

How high above the stove top can this be mounted to be effective?

The Range Hood Store

Hello there,

The recommended height between your cooktop and this ceiling mount hood is 48 inches. You can still mount it if you have more than 48" inches of space in between the unit and your cooktop, it's just not recommended by the manufacturer. I have attached their manual below if you need any additional information.

Asking about the victory sunset ceiling range vent. How many 90 degree turns can the fan vent have and still maintain the 600 CFm? Also, our stove is on an angle to the joists so can a box be idolized to get the proper placement and then ven out the wall?

The Range Hood Store

Hello,

For the Victory Sunset range hood, you are limited to only 3 90-degree turns and no more than 3. After that, the CFM will start to be affected and the range hood will become significantly noisier.

For vaulted ceilings or ceilings with joists, it is ideal to build a platform or soffit to properly install the ceiling-mounted range hood. These can be found at a home improvement store, but most likely for these kinds of range hoods, would need to be custom-made.
