Ratio Glass Coffee Carafe & Kone Filter

We love this carafe for our pour over coffee. Our coffee tastes delicious! I recommend this for all you coffee lovers!

I love this coffee maker. I grind my beans fresh everyday to a French press/pour over grind. I make sure to add enough water to cover the coffee grounds in my initial pour and I wait until the coffee grounds expand with the water.

I can start it, then do other things while it’s brewing - and the coffee is fantastic! I can say without a doubt that it brews the best coffee that I’ve been able to make at home. I highly recommend the Ratio Eight.

My husband and I decided to try pour overs after we got tired of drinking the coffee from our coffee maker. The coffee is smoother and tastes way better because you have control over every aspect of making the coffee.

This wasn’t a quick decision for me. I was originally interested in purchasing a French press. But ended up deciding against it when I realized it would end up becoming a costly venture. Sometimes the best ideas are the most simple, and this pour over glass coffee maker gets 5 stars from me.

Very expensive for what it actually is. The shower head does seems to trend to one side of the head and does not evenly dispense. Carafe needs a better method of letting air escape.

It’s really hard go mess coffee up in this thing. The basket seemed cheaply made at first and I was worried it would rip apart but it has been holding up great with its daily use.

It's a great machine......very sculptural, great quality of construction, etc. Depth of flavor is wonderful. I'm very happy with it overall.

I turn the heat on under the kettle, measure coffee into the filter, and pour when the kettle whistles. The coffee tastes better, takes almost no time if I want an extra cup, and is easier and quicker to clean. A win all around!

This coffee maker is both simple to use and a pleasure to admire on any kitchen countertop. The simplicity is only on the surface though. Through it's cycle, it starts with a shower that allows the coffee to bloom and then provides the appropriate amount of properly heated water to get the best possible extraction from the grounds. The resulting carafe of coffee is as much fun to watch brew as it is to pleasurable to drink.

It's elegant on the counter, makes incredible coffee, easy to maintain and worth every penny.

This is a classic pour over with a reusable filter. Good for coffees that may be a touch strong if prepared differently. Takes the edge off acidic varieties. Have also used for other hot beverages effectively. Does allow a little bit of sediment and that is not always a bad thing.

Love this coffee maker! Such a great price and makes a great cup of coffee. The process takes less than 5 minutes and minimal effort. It’s very easy to clean.

Brewing high-end, restaurant-level coffee at home is finally possible and the look of the Ratio 8 is very nice in our kitchen. While expensive, the Ratio 8 is worth it if you love great coffee and the great looks.

I was super excited to purchase this because of the design of the product. It's very pleasing to look at, and it makes me excited to make my cup of coffee everyday! I was even more excited that I'd be able to NOT use paper filters, but after about a few months - I'm finding that they may be necessary.

The flavor and texture of the coffee is excellent and it’s so easy to clean out.

I just received my Ratio 8. What a machine! It's love at first cup. I've had a ton of top notch equipment in my time, but I've never had coffee like this. The balance between body and delicacy is just right.

This obviously takes a little more time than using a standard coffee maker but it's worth it for the better tasting coffee.

If you REALLY like coffee then this is the only answer for you. The ability of the Ratio to produce rich, full-bodied coffee, free from the solids and oils that get pressed into or extracted from coffee using other methods really stands out from the crowd. The Ratio is also the most simple and intuitive piece of automated brewing technology out there - even a coffee-deprived teenager can set it up.

Great, inexpensive, simple design, that allows you use extremely hot, boiling water to maximize the flavor from your ground coffee. The water needs to be heated from a different device, of course. Quality components as advertised.

One of my best kitchen buys in the past 5 years! A true joy both visually and functionally.
