I've had several other brands and so far this one is fantastic. It has an inside light that the others didn't and a metal ice scoop with a holder inside and makes ice really fast and machine is very quiet. Much better than I expected! Highly recommend so far.
We've only had this machine a month. It seems to meet our needs and expectations. Makes ice quickly and very little maintenance is required but it does need a drain to empty approximately 1.5 gallons of water a day. We love the light and ice cube scoop inside the ice box! The ice cubes are much to our satisfaction.
After reviewing several brands, I settled upon this ice maker for our new wet bar we added. So far Im very impressed with the ice production and quality.

This unit makes as good ice as my two previously owned machines. It is a bit louder during ice production. Easy to install and love the removable ice container and light.
